Every season we get dozens of calls any time a tropical storm or hurricane threatens......

Hurricanes and tropical storms are a part of life between June and November in the southern Gulf and Atlantic states. We accept this risk when we choose to live in these areas just as residents of California accept earthquake risk and dwellers of low areas along the Mississippi accept frisk of floods.

We book our events over a year in advance to lock in desirable weekend dates for our members. We understand that when a weather system approaches the USA and threatens to make landfall people start to ask “what if it goes……?†The answer is "who knows????"

    Our Policy is as follows:

We do not attempt to predict weather.

Our stance is if NOAA and the National Hurricane Center cannot predict a storm’s exact path then please do not expect STT to be able to do with a wet finger and “red sky at night…red sky in morning†rhymes what these agencies cannot do with a whole fleet of satellites, aircraft and supercomputers.

We understand that some of you that live in areas prone to being affected by these weather systems may make a personal choice to stay home to protect property when threatened. STT is unable to extend credits or refunds for tropical weather related issues.

This is just like if you have tickets for a football or hockey game and asked them if you could get a credit for a game next season… A ticket is good for a specific date at a specific venue.

    Best regards,

    STT Management
