I am selling my ZX12R Turbo. It was built by Muzzy as a streetable turbo and puts out 275HP on low boost (6-8lbs) with 93 Octane. It will run 18-22lbs with C16 with a corresponding increase in power.

This bike is simply amazing. Effortless power and predictability without the bad manners typically associated with turbo bikes. The two computers in the tail section (see pics below) work together to deliver power very smoothly. I have had this bike at Grattan and Gingerman tracks once each, and it was quite manageable under boost even in the corners. While riding on the street, the power is even more seemless. It has been to Deal's Gap three times and rides very well on the open road or in the curves.

I have had no major mechanical issues since I purchased it two years ago. I have replaced the battery recently as it died, the usual tire and brake replacement, and plugs (I had a tendancy to foul plugs initially due to rider error). Oil has been changed quite regularly with Motul full synthetic racing oil.

I have all software necessary for tuning this bike, although no programming changes should be necessary.

I am selling this bike to purchase a new bike I plan to use for the track. I will consider a partial trade for either a prepped track bike or certain street bikes.

    Asking $17,000 OBO

I have a number of extras for this bike, and am willing to negotiate a somewhat lower price if those extras are not included.

It makes 275HP at the wheel on pump gas (92/93 octane) with low boost (6-8lbs). The power delivery is very smooth and linear and i ride it on the street this way.

I have never run it on higher boost, but was told by Muzzy that the maximum safe boost is 18-22lbs with the way the bike is set up currently. To do this, the boost controller needs to be adjusted (an easy task) and the fuel needs to be replaced with C16. With the 550cc injectors, maximum theoretical HP is about 440 at 100% duty cycle. The motor, drivetrain, fuel system, and everything necessary has been built to handle this kind of power, making it very reliable.

If anyone would like additional information, please PM me your phone number and I'll give any information I can.
