Is there a good place to unload a bike off the back of a pickup truck at Barber. Last time I used a buddies trailer, but I'd like to be able to just load it on the back of my truck and not have to deal with borrowing one.

I have a ramp, but it's not real long and makes the angle pretty steep. It works good in conjunction with a hill or something that reduces the height. But I am uncomfortable trying to use it to load/unload the bike on flat ground, especiallly by myself. I would hate to survive a weekend at the track only to drop it while packing up to leave.

So any ideas? I guess I could always just ask a few other guys there to give me a hand, but I'd rather not have to rely on other people.

At the botom pit area there is a hill that you can get a good slope for the back of your truck.

ALso there will be plenty of people around to give you a hand. I made the mistake once at 1st track day and dropped bike off the back of my pickup, lucky it was the end of the day.

Anyone there will be more than willing to help ya, dont take the chance and try it by yourself if you are uneasy about it. You probably will not even have to ask..once you start to look like you are about to unload/load it people usually come over and offer a hand.
