Awesome Videos. I'm glad your bike's speedo was in view, as it gives me a benchmark for what speed "can" be carried into various parts of the course. I now have a training video for my return Barber track day. Thanks for the videos from a great vantage point showing Barber's terrain, bike's positions, and speedo for reference. What equipment (tires, mod's, etc) are you running? I'm sure my stock 10R couldn't match your performance...okay, so the bike is the least of my limitations.
Thanks, but as far as the speed, it's not a very accurate benchmark. I went down a tooth in my front sprocket so the speedo reads higher than actual, not sure how much but I"m guessing like 15%. Bike mods, not really much done to it. The bike is plenty fast stock. I put on a Two Bros half system exhaust (removes cat, exhaust valve, but stock header), K&N filter, Power commander with custom map (putting out about 161 hp at the wheel). Superbike brake kit (hh pads and stainless lines). E-racing fiberglass fairing, rearset risers. I think that's it. Tires are Pirelli Corsa III's. The are a dual compound street tire, but work well at the track too.

(Grey/Red CBR1000RR - red leathers) Just couldnt get used to the new bike. Struggled to get 46/47's when I used to get 40's on my RC-51. It'll come with time I guess.

goals i was asking flojoe. those times are awesome. my best was 1:50 lol. yea bratwurst. 1:43 is really getting around. I guess all that can be done to get there is break later and get on the gas sooner... lol and pray harder!
Re: goals Thanks, although I was pleased with my progress and was able to meet my laptime goals this past weekend, I still consider them a long way from being "awesome". So nobody else has videos besides me and Automan? Comon, I know there are some more out there. Post em up.
My video camera kept shutting off. It came with regular batteries, but when I read the fine print on the directions, it said that it requires Li rechargable units as the ones included do not work under, "High vibrations". Why did they even put them in there :shock: It shut down just about every time I hit second gear going into 5. (Maybe I need a slipper clutch)
That's a shame tac, would have liked to see your vids. I think you just need to get a real sportbike, you ride the hell out of that zrx, might be time for something a little more track oriented. I'm spoiled, all my sportbikes have had slipper clutches. I can't imagine what it's like riding barber without one.

I took a ZX-6 out for a session and can't believe the difference. My wife, (Gina, she is the one on the Ducati with the white leathers), had been bugging me to get a track bike and I have been putting it off, but riding the ZX6 has put me in high gear looking for a track specific bike. I had no idea how much work I was doing hauling the ZRX around. I could ride the little 600 all day and not get tired. The ZRX is fun, but you really have to work to ride it fast, especially with the stock suspension that is on it. You will see me on something different soon.
