12 years and that's the first time I ever crashed...I ride on the conservative side....my Dainese's blew a zipper Saturday morning,I had those Joe Rockets Aaron Frank in my tub...I used them once and they were tight in the crotch and in the thighs on turn-in,basically binding me up...well I rode the top of the bike all day Sat and Sun,I think I got lazy and it bit me running prolly too much angle coming in...tucked er'...oh well...12 years streak shot down!! LOL

So much for a warm up lap...

At least it was a clean get off. What was that approximate lap time before the crash?

P.S. You passed me at the 6:30 mark in the first video like I was sitting still...

Haha...we all get to do that....I wasn't trying to be an ass ,that was my first crash in 12 years, when I started doing track days...I thought, hey this is so much fun I want a long shelf life...so riding cautious, don't go over 9/10ths,study alot, learn fast SLOWLEY...aint' none of us goin' to Moto-GP...well maybe Jake....lol...what principal seems to apply universally is,there's always someone slower/always someone faster......we're all pretty decent pilots, lucky to be doing it...but that next level sure is a great deal different...

Thank God for Forums for a slow day at work!! Derrick's right....find a coach...they know every inch of that track, and spend the whole day, with one or more....study between sessions...use video between sessions.....tell ya right now, watching my video I can see where I got lazy, didn't use enough track...missing apexes etc....I wish I would've video's Saturday and watched between sessions...could've cleaned some things up....use the coached AND vid...bet you drop 3-4 seconds if you in the upper 40's.....hey,ya got the November date....????

Well that's kind of you Marc....half a party animal is true....I have some friends that are trying to talk me into trying to do an old guy and qualify for an AMA race....IF I worked my ass off, quit smoking, spent more on the bike, worked out, diet.yadda yadda yadda.....I could spend about 4 k and get smoked!! Right now,I "might" be able to make a grid at a couple tracks....I'd be 8-10 seconds off the pace...couldn't finish.....I think I'll stick to the club stuff CCS/ASRA,nice 8 lap sprints, and coach and do track days.....this way I can still Party!!! :D :D :D
