Nashville is over and done, and everyone has had time to catch up on their sleep !! Time to start looking forward to the next track day !! !! Had a GREAT time this weekend! And enjoyed hanging out with everyone !!! See yall again soon !
I am not even home yet Almost though. We slept in and didnt leave the hotel until we HAD to at 11:00. Had a lot of fun though. I didnt like the track really friday, but it started coming around for me, and It is still not my favorite, but it is not bad. A lot harder than I expected it to be though
If anybody knows a good engine guy around Nashville shoot me a note. My 08 R6 is fooked....been trying to figure it out for 2 days now...crashing sucks. On a side note...I was having a blast for 3 sessions up until my little incident. Thanks to everybody who helped me rebuild...just wish the motor didn't go clank, clank, clank when I started it :-(
I dont know what you consider "near" but the guy I use for engine building, as well as suspension, is Brian Livengood of Livengood Motorsports http://livengoodmotorsports.com/
The first time I went to the track I didn't like it that much. It has grown on me now. I had a great time last night. First time under the lights. I was certainly glad to see the sun go down!
This was my first time at any track and first time with STT. I had a blast and I can't wait till I can do another one.
Another great weekend... Thanks to all the staff. As usual, it went without a hitch. Lois and her helper Mark, and the rest of the staff seems to pull off great weekends every time! Nashville isn't my favorite track, but it is 20 minutes from my house. The slow stuff is tough. I ended up running a session on Ken's TZ125, and that is the bike for this track. What a blast that was!
Thanks again to the STT staff and everyone else, another top notch event makes the 10 hour drive worth while.
What a great event! Thanks STT. This was my 3rd time at NSS but my first time under the lights and it turned out much better than I expected. I had heard stories from last time about how the visibility isn't that good in certain sections, but I didn't notice any issues with the lights besides the occasional shadow trying to race me.
The shadows take some getting used to for sure  I have never LITERALLY been afraid of my shadow before There were times I just KNEW someone was stuffing me on the inside, only to realize it was my shadow :lol
Im ready for another trackday just dont think my bike is up to it yet I took cams place in the crash truck this time!
yes but it got hammered it was on the left side so lost the crash vid but got one from the session before. Wish i did though.
