I looked at WERA mylap times but it must have been wet weather... winning time was 1.14.

Sunday was my first time on the tard and lets just say Nashville was not designed for tractors.Fun,fun, fun but a couple of times I thought I was being buzzed by the blue angels.

We really had a great intermediate group though, I tried to stay out of ya'lls way the best I could.

last year i raced my motard there and finished 2nd or 3rd (novice in dsb)with a 1.12

but then again ted cobb was rollin 1:06s

    that race,
ricky ford is on a sv and that was wet

suzy was the only motard out there and see was on slicks and didn't finish

you can check mylaps for dsb, clubman, motard races last sept or april were both dry, they will give you an idea

My best time on the CRF450R Tard geared to do 99MPH max was 1:16.5 in the 11PM session.

I feel i could knock off another second or two in the infield, but i would need more top speed to do any better around the bottom of Nascar 3 and 4 and down the front striaght into 1 and 2.

    It was a blast though

it all depends on how deep you can go into t1 /t2 combo.

i doubt my ktm had much more than 100mph

At what point are you off gas coming in off of the front straight, before or after the transition?

waaayyyy after and still in top gear...
its very fun after you get use to it.

do not try to bite too much much at once, slowly work up.

I gradually worked up to keep the throttle on until past the painted merge line after the transistion, then hammered it again thru 1 till late break into 2.

I know i should be able to stay in it till the little apex in 1, but that friggin wall up the Nascar bank in the middle of Nascar 1 and 2 is friggin scary and i have seen some riders (while spectating) loose it in 1 and go up an dhit that wall.

Always gotta weight "risk vs. reward" at a track day. I think we could all shave off some seconds if we were guaranteed we wouldn't crash...but there is no such guarantee.

Gotta get up and go back to work on Monday....so I ride appropriately.
