Trying to figure out which side of my tires would take more of a beating.

Any thougts on the track? I really enjoyed the Thunderbolt track a few weeks back, but prefer a slower more technical track.

I thought Thunderbolt WAS the "slower, more technical" track.

I have been told Lightning almost gets boring. I find that hard to believe, but looking at the layouts, I can see how Thunderbolt would be more fun.

again, second-hand knowledge, so take that for what it's worth.

Lightning has some significant elevation changes and maintains a higher average speed than Thunderbolt. Thunderbolt DOES have a lot more turns and will wear you out (especially the back section). No where to really rest.

Both are very different in many ways. The only thing they have in common is a dip that'll let you catch air. Go figure.
