Its Nice to have MONEY!!! 3 of us rode our bikes up to the track that day and saw all the expensive loud cars pulling up to the track. Of course they didn't let us BIKERS in. Just those hooligan rich car owners. The back roads leading up to Monticello are awesome. I am glad those exotic car owners stuck to the over crowded highways and left the twisty back roads to us BIKERS!!! They can afford the tickets. :twisted:
I'm not holding my breath for Monticello. Team ProMotion has released their 2011 schedule with no Monticello dates, which seems to confirm a published comment by the Monticello president back in July that they would not be hosting any outside clubs in 2011. A damn shame, as it's near my house & a great track. Guess it's back to PocoNO and overnights down to New Jersey Motor Park. NJMP is very nice, but I hate that Jersey Turnpike! we'll relaease our 2011 schedule sometime between xmas & new years. I promise that we'll have a few surprises in store for next year!

i really hope they do have the powers of persuasion as its just over an hour for me to get to mmc and i really enjoy that place too. i can leave at the same time i leave for work in the am and i can still be home for dinner. its going to kill me to have to travel down to njmp which will be a 3 hour ride at minimum with traffic and that wont go over as well for getting home at 9 at night.. that would suck really and make it much more difficult to attend any events in general. i could easily see myself doing 7 events at mmc though without any trouble.
Man, I hope they open MMC for us next year. I am thinking about getting a leather suit for Christmas instead of my Aerostich, but I don't know how many track days I'll do if I have to go all the way to Jersey. And if I only think I'm going to do a couple of track days, then it might not be worth it to get a full leather suit...
NJMP is only slightly further than MMC time wise, but I don't drive through any major cities on the way to MMC. Got my fingers crossed.
I was just kidding! I'm antsy, but I understand that y'all want to have time with your families and stuff during this time period. I'm actually surprised someone responded so quickly!
Its Snowing Its sunday and a freaking blizzard!!! Sure would be nice to hear some good news about Monti. Santa picked my pocket again this year and some Monti dates would be a nice present.
