Re: What is a Novice Rider? SPlit your days up Novice / Inertmiadiate. 1st day run in the top Novice group and you'll know + tthe Instructors will let you know your ready for "I" If you want to say in N the 2nd day I don't think that would be a problem also would be safer.
what i like about stt: they give out free hookers to first time riders....and they supply all the beer you can drink at the end of the day. naked swiss ski bunnies give backrubs between sessions while feeding you whip creamed strawberries off their perky tatas.
I was riding stupid on the street my first year of owning a sportbike so I found trackdays about a month after getting the bike to fill my need for speed . My first year I tried STT , Nesba , Floribama , Keith Code and at least one other private org to ride the tracks with . I prefer STT simply because I look at trackdays as a safer place to ride my sportbike like I really want to on the street and do not care for it being run as a "Race Practice" and STT runs a safe , Fun place to do that without a bunch of folks who think they are Rossi trying to stuff you for that extra couple seconds off thier laptimes . Mind you any org gets a few of those every now and then but STT seems to have a more street orientated program with comfortable but challenging passing restrictions where the emphasis is on learning and just having fun .
Thanks everyone for your responses, I'm currently compiling and writing the article, look for it in an upcoming issue of TrackdayMag.com. again Thanks! Lance
WE HAVE DAVE BAVEL!!! Now if any other org. can top that pleeze chime in, cause i want to meet em!!
Why STT? Safest for beginners, the best coaching we have ever gotten, ( my son and I ) and there is not that overwhelming feeling of being an outsider like at some other providers. Thats it ( no more sucking up )
