well since it's already been hijacked...let me hold it for ransom a minute. Jimbo, do you ride on the street any or just track. Theres about 4 of us (fellow stt riders) that live within 30 minutes of you and we usually get together and ride on sundays when STT is further away than we care to drive. We've actually found some pretty good roads in our area that are rural and twisty (thanks to me flying all over fayette/walker/winston/tuscaloosa counties in the freakin helicopter) If your interested shoot me a pm....we'll be riding sunday, we usually meet at sonic in Jasper about 1100. We'll also be at tally april 5th.
HEY! You thread jackers better knock it off before I delete this thread about thread deleting  I couldn't resist...
Not riding much on the street but might take you up on that offer. Thanks. I will be with you guys at Tally
If it looks like a duck........... I just saw this. Many folks disguise advertising like that so my mods will usually err on the side of deletion. We have official sponsors of the site and the Mods are pretty agressive at protecting their interests at times and that is on my request and I make no apologies for them, they're merely doing as I ask. BTW... seriously I mean no offence to the self proclaimed leather expert or Spartans owner, but until these suits have spent hundereds.. no.... make that thousands of cumlative days on the track and many, many dozens of crashes no "experts" opinion is going to carry water. You just don't build instant reputation with a single self-proclaimed leather experts opinion. Time in service will weave the tale. Heck if a single experts opinion is fact...... I was in the Adult Film section at the CES in Vegas one year (a loooooong time ago) and one of the starlettes wrote on a photo addressed to me that I was the best she ever had....In theory that makes me a porn star... in practice well.....well... ummm.. ...errrrr. So in closing we had a little fun with this post and hopefully Spartan guys stuff is good stuff.
Re: If it looks like a duck........... Agreed. He has a task on his hands to get his stuff out there to prove himself thats for sure. I've got to give him props though for going for what he is passionate about.
Re: If it looks like a duck........... Chasing the dream is what it's all about and everyone has to start somehwere. We started STG with Brian Van with 200 Vemar helmets, some Held gloves and Oxtar boots....
Not to beat a dead horse, but this article just came out. http://www.trackdaymag.com/Article.aspx?id=3503
