Hi all. I'm trying to get things lined up for my first track day, and have a question. Please take a look at the following pics and let me know if that counts as mirror removal, or if I actually need a set of block-off plates.

Sorry if this isn't posted in the correct area of the forums.

    Thanks,
    Daniel

The reason for removing the mirror is to prevent the possbility of getting glass on the track if something were to happen, so yeah, with the mirror removed that situation is avoided and you are good to go.

You might also consider just taping them to avoid the small possibility of getting caught in the bracket if you were to crash. Painters tape works great and doesn't leave goo. I am sure that goes above tech needs but then why do the minimum when it could be your hide in question (hopefully you keep the wheels down :thumb:)
