So as I think I've mentioned before, I normally ride trails that are 7 - 10 miles in length, the 10-miler being my favorite. The other day, however, I went out and rode 21 miles, pushing hard the entire way. Gotta say, the first 19 miles were surprisingly easy, but those last two saw me sucking some major wind! lol I'm sure 21 miles is child's play for some of you, but I'm curious to know if you have any advice for a rider looking to go longer distances without feeling half-dead at the end of the ride.
