    Hello,

I'm in upper intermediate (in my mind at least) with my sport touring ninja 1000, and I want to get a dedicated track bike in good condition - in the 600 cc range. A low maintenance bike that I could aspire to climb into the advanced group with and start WERA racing before too long. I've sold my wife on the notion that advanced group is safer and a dedicated track bike is what the doctor ordered to get there.

The toy will primarily be a track bike toy. I don't need ABS etc. Just a good track or race setup, without too many miles or too many seasons under its belt.

Budget is really about a good deal for a good bike. I'll not likely need to upgrade over the next 5 years - and I'll probably only be doing 4-6 track days per year. If my searching fails, I'll just get a new gixer and have a local shop prep it (as I'm not mechanically inclined, and don't have the time to do it).

So, if you're selling, I'll take a look (but fixer uppers will scare me).

    Thanks!
