AD INFO IN POST #4 Well, there's the ad, since I had to sell my track bike due to financial issues and the stress of that, I'd like to trade my street bike for a bike better suited for double-duty. Yes, I did have two of the same year, make and model bike. That wasn't planned, but it was a good transition for me to start my track addiction. Now I have trades looking for 1000cc bikes, that's only for furthering trade options down the road, what I'd really like is that v-twin SV1000/650 as those are solid all around. I've got a 2003 GSX-R600 for sale, or trade(will put what I'm interested in at the bottom) The bike has new plastics since it was in a lowside by the previous owner (old story, but it's actually true this time!)When I first bought it, it was lowered, stretched and damaged. I undid the stretch, and raised it back up so it handles much, much better. I also replaced the fairings, grips, chain and sprockets, and it's sitting on a new set of tires. The upgrades, mods and fixes include: New black/silver blue fairings, very sharp, but they are chinese. Renthal grips, accompanied by bar ends that have "GSXR" engraved in them. GP-Shift pattern (1 up, 5 down) Makes shifting feel better, and smoother. New chain and sprockets (-1,+2) for quicker acceleration. Venhill stainless braided brake lines (front and rear) There's a new battery in it, so that'll be good for a long time as it always sits on the tender SpeedoDRD to correct the speedo error. It is ACCURATE verified by GPS. New set of Michelin Pilot Power 2CT's. My track bike runs these exact tires, they are superb. Yoshimura pipe, everyone loves a yoshi. TRE, timing retard eliminator, gets rid of the timing retardation for less limitation. Gear indicator is in the TRE Lowering links still on bike, just set at stock height FP Racing, high quality shorty levers. BMC Racing Air filter TechSpecs tank grips. Especially helpful when you have a passenger Retrofitted HID projectors, for MUCH MUCH better visibility. 8000k temp, I believe. LED's in intake tubes, as well as in side fairings and tail. NO front LED's for legality purposes. License plate LED, as well as LED's on passenger pegs for brake lights. Safety first. Tail was trimmed to get rid of the shovel, much cleaner look. Flushmount LED turn signals. Taillight LED's have integrated turn signals, along with the stalks, once again, safety first. Valves were checked less than 1000 miles ago. All within spec, this bike needs absolutely nothing. Frame sliders are on there, in case of a fall. They protect your frame, not your plastics. A common misconception. Tinted windscreen, just because it looks nice Will come with passenger seat, AND solo cowl. Bike has ~37k miles, although that sounds high, when these bikes are properly maintained, they can reach 100's of thousands of miles. **Trades** I am only interested in FI 1000cc inline 4's(r1, cbr1000rr,GSX-R1000) 2006+ v-twin bikes such as the SV650 SV1000 FZ8 ninja 650R speed triple or hit me up if I missed one.(faired or naked) 2005+ Dual-sports are also considered, at least 400cc Text preferred 779 435 369one Email is always open, put your name and city so I know it's not spam.
