Now that NESBA is done, what about Yamaha Demo Days? Sure would be cool to see them team up with STT! :thumb:
That hasn't gone away from what I understand. NESBA Yamaha demos will be still be run at the new NESBA trackdays is what I heard.
Triumph Demo Days would be better..... : ) However We dont want to cut into customers tracktime or Richards AMA Budget!!!
Yes... if we did demo days it would be with Triumphs.... And you never know.... it has been discussed!!! t
I'm a Yamaha man but if its at Barbers I will ride a tricycle basically what ever is given to me. :thumb:
Some Companies will show up with a Fleet of bikes for people to try out... Long ago STT did this with Aprilia down at Jennings.... Yamaha has done it with NESBA for several years.. Basically you get to ride a session or 4 on their bikes... It is a good way to try out newer Models... However in RAMMS case he realized Brand new bikes can wreck on the first turn on the first lap...:lmao:
so basically just like a drug dealer, first hit is free I cannot imagine, triumph or aprilia showing up to a track day I was attending. I would take a ride, forget I was married with a son in college, and all of a sudden I would be living on the street with my new track bike.
STT did have a demo ride at a Gingerman trackday weekend. Ducati brought out there hypermotards. To bad we only got to take a short 20 min street ride. I received a good stare down by one of the control riders for riding a wheelie down some railroad tracks. ;-p Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
They're quite happy there, trust me! I'd love to try one of the newer ones to compare to my "old" '07.
After watching Jason, Elena, Eslick, Trevor, and others, and talking with Ken, about these bikes, I am sold. My next bike (should there be one), will be a 675R, or maybe an R6 as a distant second. It would come down to riding both and deciding.
