Came over as part of the Reduc crowd... Currently living in NYC & will be at Pocono this season. I'll have to check if Loudon is on the schedule as well. Started out on a Rupp minibike as a tike, first 'real' bike was a 1979 Yamaha SR 500 (kick start - thumper). Currently doing trackdays on a 1999 Mille or a 1999 Duc 748. Looking forward to meeting everyone & having a good ride now & again....
Welcome Hank! be sure to go ot our what was your 1st bike? thread & post there, too! at the very least, it will improve your post count... cheers, Lance
Another Rupp . I jumped min so much I broke the frame at the steering stem . Dad sleeved it with some steel tubing ...Good as new .
welcome hank.... gotta share this: was just having a bit of a 'birds and bees' talk with my middle schoolers the other day. and they felt a little uncomfortable with the word sex, so i told them to just use some other word in it's place....so we picked....you guessed it....'hank'. try going through some of those conversations in your head replacing the word sex with hank.....i haven't laughed that hard in a loooong time.
Anyone that ever had a crush on one of their Grade School teachers, take a look at Jig's avatar & feel sorry for his students.
Hi Hank, I also started on a Rupp at age 12. Soon thereafter I removed the 2 1/2 HP Tecumseh and replaced it with a MAC90 kart engine. It was bad ass. Now I'm on an 03 999. Hope to see you out there.
