Monte am I missing it. Im looking at schedule but dont see any special marks for the Wide Open Wed. Or are all wed events wide open? 12 to 6pm Thanks for the help.

I'm booked for 4/11-12 and can't wait. Any chance anybody has any recent pictures of the circuit? Have they started to grow grass, put in building structures, etc? Any tidbits would be great.
I booked a day for may 30th. Looking forward to it! I'll be watching the posts after the first trackdays for everybody's thought's about the track. I am about the same distance from it as I am Barber.
Im in both days also. Cmon warm weather. Funny how going just a little south/east can make it alot warmer. Wouldnt even think about having a track day this early in Illinois. Ppope im sure someone has pics?
I'm driving 9 hours from Syracuse, NY, as opposed to risking riding in PA or NJ on that weekend. Come on locals, throw up some pics!
Hey Lance, maybe you should invite the Haydens to BBQ saturday night. Owenboro is like 3 hours away and maybe they would show up to open the new Kentucky track if you threw in some BBQ! JC
For the trackday or BBQ? I'm already registered for the weekend, but I'm going to try and get walk-up tickets to this BBQ!
I am beginning to wonder if Bluegrass is going to be open by the May STT dates. Anyone have a progress report???
Here is a not so good "progress report" I read this in my paper this morning. It is not looking good for the month of May. http://nky.cincinnati.com/article/AB/20090501/NEWS0103/905020355
Just spoke with Brad and the owners group today (Saturday AM) and the end of May is on... May 13 isn't going to happen. This is a huge project and six weeks isn't unusual. The event at the end of May is a go!!! We will be dong something special at Bluegrass for all of our members effected by the delay in opening. Brad Popple, the owner and us are working on some options for you all.
No worries at all... thats news and news. Brad asked them to hold off until after the meetings yesterday.. they did not. I have been royaly fu#ked over by Newpaper jounalists before.... (intentional mis-quote and ommissions) they're slimy and some are good.. these were slimy. You can quote me on that one.
Sounds good! Wonder how "green" the surface will be. Are there any other events that will be run before the first STT track day???
