best place to seat at Indy for motogp

    Agreed. Best place or Turn one at the Ducati Island area...

    The mound is best because you can see them pull the trigger WOT and watch the TC kicking in and hear the motor.

    The Tucker Rocky stands are also bad ass...

    Yep... We had fence in FRONT of the Ducati Grand Stands one year... They blocked it off ever since...LOL :lmao:

    At the end of each moto GP sessions the riders practice their starts at the beginning of the infield straight away. Between the cheers and riders putting on a show, it's well worth seeing.

    I've been to several events at IMS. If I'm going with a bunch of friends then sitting in the inflied is the best spot. I like sitting at the end of the back straight, they do fair amount of passing there during the race. But I also like sitting in the Southwest vista, especially if I bring the girlfriend. You can find seats in the shade for a decent price. Another pro about sitting in SWV is you can see all of the front straight and T 1,2,3,4 and the short shute (sp?) leading the infield section. Plus, they have the jumbotron to see the rest of the track.
