Castrol SRF Brake FLuid??

i had to put my 2 cents in. i have been watching this , go from brakes, to body parts to , everything else,

 

i like the full cource, if u had to pick i pick it would be south then full then north cource.
hopefully i will be able to do work track days, and less work.

 

North rocks, South rocks, full is so so, the transition sucks.

Break fluid, I use silkolene.

 

i bought a bottle from Cycle gear for 4.99

 

Autozone has their house brand brake fluid for 2.99 :woot:

 

The transition would be an awesome corner if the pavement wasn't garbage... or maybe I liked it so much because at the end of the straight I was reminded of how much I hate T2 on North.

EDIT: I have no opinion on brake fluid but I do enjoy having a way to slow my bike at the end of a straight

 

i change mine twice a year at most. bleed maybe once in between.

I don't find you terribly bad at anything you've asked, but this post kinda rubs me the wrong way. If you HAVE to tell people how fast you are, chances are that... well... you know...

I'd try a piece of humble pie because I can say for a fact that there are probably PLENTY of guys on this forum and not on the forum that will wax you on even your peak day now or then. Just saying...

Yes, you can tell your accomplishments and people will take that as bragging. But, that's not what is going on here in that post... Just a suggestion and no matter how friendly a guy you are, if you respond and say things like above, people already have you judged...

 

As I just said in another thread I can't seem to put what I mean into words that are then taken the wrong way. I will never say I am fast again. :sorry:

 

I'm not sure it's the talking about being fast that bugs people, I think they get more upset about you posting questions you seem to already know the answer to just to point out the expensive trailer, air compressor, brake fluid, etc.. you have.

That's my observation as an outside observer, but IMO it's the internet so who cares. I know I used to rile people up on forums just for entertainment. To some people the internet is very serious business!

I use Castrol synthetic dot 4 @ $5/bottle. Works good for me

I bleed once a yr (don't do as many TDs as I would like )

im pretty fast, myself. u dont see me bragging. i have hit 63 mph at the autobahn north straight, then ofcource had to slow down to 30 to turn.
