For Sale.............One set of Vortex rearsets for a 2007 600RR.......Good condition, smoothed down a bit, and NO BLOOD on them!!! .................J/K!!!

I've been using mine since the 2009 season and have never really thought about something like this happening. BTW, I guess I did a good job taking the sharp edge off of mine..........4 seasons on them in the same pair of SIDI Corsa boots.

Just thought I would note, Woodcraft has new pegs out that offer lots more grip.

Confirm Richard636. Having worn the old ones smooth, I bought replacement Woodcraft pegs for both my bikes this winter and received the new design. It's quite a bit more aggressive but not the flesh ripper Vortex offers.

woodcraft now offers a more agressive peg, similar to the vortex as an available option or accessory

Yes, I know, thank you. Do you know where I can purchase them? I see them in their ads but I don't see them for purchase on their site or STG's.

Yeah, i saw those at the dealer show.

They put a lot of thought into those and also how they would grind up in case of a fall.
    very interesting.

i can't wait to try them!!

when my "old" woodcraft pegs lost the grip, i used to loosen the peg and rotate it to have the grippy stuff again.

I plan to grab a set. In the mean time at Gingerman I took a file to my existing ones and notched the ends just about exactly as you see here. Worked a treat. Before that my outside foot slipped off so violently that my right leg was sticking straight out through turn six!

recieved the new woodcraft rearsets from STG just in time for barber this past weekend. Talk about grip ,I never had to re-adjust my foot position, never any slipping even in all that rain Sunday.the new rearsets are non adjustable but other than that , they were great.
