Craig, I think I tackled the "hump". It wasn't the typical linebacker stuff, maybe more like a place kicker tripping someone. Anyway, It's not so intimidating anymore, actually I rather enjoy hitting it faster now. When you get there in September, I bet you'll have it down after the first session. Then you'll ask me why I was being such a sissy.
Nice, good to hear. I would never call you a sissy, at least not to your face. Just kidding. It is always a little uneasy when the tire come off of the ground, just have to let the bike do its thing and relax.
Great video... especially at about the 1:55 mark when i come by on the right  That was a really fun day... Grape and his buddy were out there having a blast and just RAILIN around there! Willie and I had a blast riding with them because they were so comptetitive with each other as well!
will there be any practice time available on friday? I remember in years past they'd have an open practice friday. thanks, kirk
Grattan Counter Clockwise is WAY BETTER. Ran it last year backward after the re-pave as well, fun fun See you'all out there Sunday
Looking forward to seeing the Duc crowd again, I met some of you when you held your meeting here at STG. Don't forget to say hi.
ahh, ok, putting some names and faces together now. it was good to meet you a couple weeks ago. thanks for the great deal on the phantoms, i'm excited to try them out!
Great weekend out at Grattan. First time running CCW, but it was a blast after figuring it out. Made some good progress over the course of both days. Had a great time riding with those out in 'A', especially chasing the guy on the Aprilia SVX. He was moving that thing around smooth! (I was on the blue SV.) Can't wait to get out there again! 8)
Wow what a great weekend and i'm sore as hell! I think those last back to back sessions yesterday tooks it's toll. Brian i missed riding w/you man, heal up fast! It was great meeting a bunch of new friends as well as seeing old ones, STT staff (i mean winos  , you know who you are) the Duc Unlimited guys and last but not least the Shadow Vid customers i was lucky enough to ride with! To be honest on friday i wasn't looking forward to the drive from WI thru Chicago to the track but as usual on the way home i nothing but a huge smile on my face as I replayed the weekends events. The riding naturally tops the list, i love Grattan and i really love it counter race and of course the world class BS'ing! I also enjoy it when i stick both my A-stars in my mouth! Until next time...........oh yeah this coming Monday at Rd.AM! Later, Kirk p.s. Buck pm me w/your email and i'll send you the 'Thai Pie' receipe!
kirk, it was great to meet you. i take a lot of crap for being a rossi fanatic, so it's good to get some backup. i won't spoil the GP race, but i think I found my next Rossi Replica
Awesome week-end (minus the boss's crash and bike catching on fire.) Nice to see so many people having a great time out there. Steve.....how did the Phantoms feel this week-end?
hey jane... the phantoms were a little snug at first (i bought them that way on purpose), but after a session, they loosened up nicely, and now they fit perfectly. they have really good feel, compared to my older a-stars gloves....
