That Grattan spooks me too. From my motocross days I can say I have always enjoyed multiple terrain racing. But the shaving of pavement, different color pavement and lack of experience .... Now I realize how different pavement can enhance experience can be with my track days this year. I rode poorly on the multi colored terrain at Grattan and look forward to going back. Coming up to multiple colored pavement is a part of trusting your equipment as having a new set of tires and maintaining confidence. I say leave the track the way it is.
