There was a Sinkhole over the crest at Putnam on the Main Straight one year... Maybe 3 feet wide at most..The other Org just put a cone in front of it and kept the day going.... It was a classic riders meeting for sure.....

Very cool. It's hard to tell from the aerial shots, but run-off looks pretty good!

I'm excited. Another track that's only 3 hours from me! Can't complain there. If only Memphis would fix their track and get motorcycles back on it.

 

Can't wait for it to open! I don't know what it is like to be 1.5 hours away from a track. everything is 6+ for me. We need like 10 events there at least. :rawk:

 

Definitely want to check this out. Will not be one of my 5 closest tracks (I think it's like 8th closest to Chicago) but if it's a really high quality track it'll be worth it.

Does GM own/operate this? If so, I'm sure they didn't cheap out in the construction of this facility. Should be good.

Trev, what are you thinking for trackday pricing? If the track is as trick as I'm guessing, I doubt they're renting weekends out for cheap.

Cheaper than Road America? Right in the Barber pricing neighborhood?
