    Ok....

We have the opportunity to make some smoking deals on tires but I want to get feedback from our members and staff.

Would you be interested in a deal for say $350 that consisted of:

    (1) PRC 120/70 front
    (3) PR3 180/55 Rears (sub 190/55 Power Race softs for $5 more per rear tire)

The PRC is our "does everything and lasts forever" front. The PR3 is our venerable sprint race tire. This four-tire combo would be outstanding buy for a racer who is budget minded but still wants to have tires capable of winning races.

FWIW - The PRC/PR3 holds BUTTLOADS of track records. However, the new Power One Race tire will be replacing these tires (at $380 per set)

    We could also do THIS deal (1) Power Race 120/70 in a Soft or Med-Soft with (1) 180/55 PR4 and (1) 180/55 Race Medium for $350 (that's 1-front and 2-rears)

    Please give me your feedback.

    Monte

That is a really good combination and is what I currently run. I think that would be a great deal and could be happy with continuing to run them. However for 30 bucks, I would also be interested in trying the new tires as well.

    Bill,

The new tires will be $380 for (1) front and (1) rear.

The deal above at $350 is (1) Front and (3) rears for a total of FOUR tires.

how long do you think the rear tires would be good for, as in how many track days? Sounds like a good deal no matter what, I would be interested.

A PR3 will give you a solid day of go-fast riding and a day and a half with a flip possibly.

So this combo would last about as long as a race medium rear? maybe longer? what do you think would be the best of the options you had listed for me to run for track days? It will be on a r6, just for fyi.

    Three PR3s????
    And a front!

If you could get that in 190s, I would order like 10 sets...
I love the PR3, for a sprint tire, they do last a good amount of time.
Ohh and the traction... *drool* traction...

X, I'll be able to provide the Power Race 190/55 Soft (basically the 190/55 version of a PR3) for about $15 more total. so that would be $365 for (1) PRC front and (3) 190/55 Powwr Race softs.

I would be in on this since I've never used the PR3 and I'm not a racer , just like the track + I'm not fast. But I'd go with the PR3 deal if it was availiable

    I'm in.

Can you post pics? I've grown to like the 2CT's because of the tread - you can also run them in the rain (at some tracks :)). Most of the newer race compound tires are more like cut slicks with minimal tread, especially towards the edge, on purpose of course.

Any chance on getting a rear in a 160 width and playing mix and match with the widths as part of the deal - oh and probably in anyways for one set in a month or so for the cbr on the 180s
