Voitek, Try running a gear higher than you would normally. This will effectively decrease the available power and as a result, force you to focus on cornerspeed, as you won't be able to use power as a crutch. You should learn quite a lot from doing this as a drill. Also, I recommend grabbing an instructor and asking them to work with you. They can better help you in person rather than speculate over the internets. Running in the I group and tearing up tires the way you describe can pretty much only mean corner camping. I don't mean that as an insult; it's pretty inevitable with a liter bike. Lord know I did my fair share of it when I was in the I group and setting entry speed remains my biggest obstacle to breaking out of the plateau & going faster. It's not easy. Good luck! Lance
I would be soo all over this deal, but since I dont have a Tire Warmers or a generator.. I have to stock with "street tires" using PP2CT for now and have some BT002's on order. But, hopefully you will still have this deal in few so that when I get my buddy to "lend" his tyre warmers... I will take advantage of this.
Is this deal still happening or long gone? Either way, these tires seem like they're pretty sticky..... Would these be more for sprint racing rather than trackdays? I've always been a Pirelli rider - don't know much about Michelins. Comments? Thanks, Kris.
Cool, thanks Monte, Can someone help me understand the uses for the PR series versus a regular soft compound? Oh, and then what could I expect to feel different between PR4 and PR3? Thanks!
Can anybody tell me what this package deal is offering to sell me?: 120/70 Med/Soft or Soft Front & (1) 160/60 Medium & (1) 160(plus US$350) Is this one front and just 2 rears? And the rears aren't the same? That's how I'm reading it.
Oddly I just asked Monte that yesterday, it's a front and 2 rears Here's a cut and paste from Monte to the same question: Sorry you get a medium and a medium soft rear. These are in stock and ready to go..... monte
