I'm surprised more people aren't looking at RS Taichi... Don't let the cost keep you away, the longevity I have experienced has easily made them half price! -Tom
They're not as well known maybe? Super comfortable and similar wrist protection as the Handroid. As someone mentioned on the Handroids, I had the hands/knuckles hurting when I rode in them. Went up a size and still had the issue before long.
I second eddie.. I recently got ride of my handriods because they starting hurting my knuckles.. I run a* gppro.. and the wife loves her tiachi
Let us know your 1st impression and after break in impression of Racer R glove. Been curious of those.
I posted this thread a couple months ago, so I have probably done 8 or 9days with these gloves. The extra palm slider takes some getting used to, but I do not notice anymore. The gloves give you a great feel on the controls and seem well built, although the stitching did come out in one of the fingers. I sent them back to racer and they stitched it up and had it back to me within a couple days. I have not had any problems since. I would buy them again simply because they fit my hand very well.
go with the handroids. i love mine. it took me three n a half to four years and about 15-20000 miles to wear all the way thru the middle palm. so i just had a piece of leather sewn over the palm on each. still great gloves. havent had any stitching come loose or anything. been thru one low speed low slide, the edge of my hand was in contact with the pavement for a few seconds and the glove held up perfectly. awesome gloves cant go wrong with the handroids
