that is correct I used mine at road atlanta, and parked back by the wooded area. stuck my gen in the grass pointed right at the woods area. It was a lot better there than at NCM in the open parking lot.
I will be there Sunday first time to meet people and see how things go.. Looking forward to meeting everyone.. If you can get a 4X8 sheet of plywood, it will do wonders to divert the sound away. I would park on the back row by the trees and then lean the plywood against the genny to divert even more sound into the woods.
