Hey guys, I have $455 worth of general STT credit. As a result of me crashing my bike and being unable to make it to TD's that I had signed up for and taking place weeks later, STT has forced me to accept only a credit refund which I must sell on here. I will offer a 10% discount unless somebody wants to help a broke ass college student out and just swap me cash for the credit (I would greatly appreciate it and I could offer you something extra in exchange in the way of discounted safety gear)

    Thanks!!

Be glad you're with STT. I've ridden with several groups and as far as I'm concerned STT has one of the best crash, credit policies going.
You might get a big fat $0 from some orgs.

I have to agree, when I crashed at Barber in April I had track time already purchased and it was NO issue getting credit for the event. I did find it funny though that my buddies told me my name was still in the book as I was supposed to show:)

Well I am extremely frustrated at this point and I don't want to do any track riding any more if this is how loyal customers are treated. I just want my money and to never go to another track event.

I stated my price. 10% discount or I can offer a BIG discount on safety gear through my work. I don't want to be specific about the discount in public. I can talk to you privately if you're interested.

Call me crazy but giving you a $455 credit is the reverse of stealing it from you!

After I explained that I can't get my bike running before the credit expires, Yes, I think the credit is a pretty shitty offer. I realize this sport is expensive and I don't mind spending money for things that I actually RECEIVE. I am extremely frustrated and livid with the fact that this $455 will essentially have been flushed down the toilet.

if you don't learn it in college, learn it in life. Don't write checks your ass can't cash. If you are that hard up for money why put that much out. Should have signed up for one day instead of two. Half the price and it would have given you the experience to see if you wanted to pursue this. As for the credit, it's more than the government does with all the money they steal from me every year, housing deadbeats, feeding them, and giving them free healthcare.

You know, I just disagree with the policy. I don't see why that's such a problem. If I can't make it and I give easily enough notice for them to fill the spot I would have taken, why not just give the damn money back?? or keep the spot for me out of principle, don't take my spot away AND my money too.

The credit expires in May so it could be of use to you for next month

And as I have already said, I have no problem spending money for things I actually receive! I would happily spend $455 for TD's that I actually get to do

I have done trackdays before, I have a dedicated trackbike and this is my second season. I just think this policy is bullshit and I don't want to be a part of something like this.

    1. Did you know you can't get a thumbs up back once you've given it away? Why'd you steal my thumbs up?!
    2. *You gave* them your money. Then *you wrecked your bike.*
Explain to me again how they took your money *and* your trackday?
They have a clear "can't make it" policy...did you read that before you bought it?
    3. I hope you don't think that the real world is how *you think* this organization should be. Because then either you aren't going very far in life or we have all witnessed some serious degradation of our society.
    4. Accept your situation, take responsibility for it, and do your best to make up for your mistakes. That'll teach you more than you've learned (or haven't learned...) thus far in life.

I said that to make a point about consistency. If they're going to keep my money, then the spot that I paid for should be held for me (obviously this gives me no benefit whatsoever, but it holds with logical consistency). If STT is going to sell my spot to someone else, which they did, I should get my money back. I didn't ask for your life advice. I'll be just fine, although I find this attitude of complacency to be bent over because this organization wants you to is disturbing. Don't worry I won't be at any future track events because I wholly disagree with what happened to me here. Sorry for being frustrated that STT refuses to give my money back for no reason that I can see whatsoever. Trust me, I have learned my lesson: Don't do business with STT because if a problem arises, they will only take care of themselves.

So, to get back on topic here after thoroughly explaining why I feel slighted, Does anyone want to buy a credit? $455 credit for either 10% off or if you pay full price, I can get you high end, discounted safety gear. The credit expires mid may of next year.
